This year, collect like a grown-up.
- Not for status. (Okay, maybe a little.)
- Not because your interior designer told you to. (Fire them.)
- Because something in the painting pulled something in you.
When you own a painting that feels, it becomes part of your home’s soul.
It’s not décor — it’s a mirror with nerve.
And yes — my work is still available. For now.
I know some of you keep watching from the sidelines:
"Will I understand it?"
"Will it match my wall?"
"Will my guests know it’s expensive?"
Wrong questions.
Ask instead:
Will it still make me feel something 10 years from now?
Will it become a piece of my family story?
Will it survive the next renovation?
(Yes, yes, and only if you don’t hang it in the kitchen.)

So what’s coming in 5786?
- More paintings that bite, whisper, and demand you stare.
- More shows, because I’m not done being loud yet.
- More Taiko drum performances, because honestly, how else do you survive geopolitics?
And maybe, if I have a little time left... a few new sculptures.
You know, for those who still really need their nudes. 🙄
Shana Tova veMetuken — may your year be sweet, bold, and full of walls that say something.
With love (and mischief),
Nikita
